Whedon Confirmed for Wonder Woman

I'm feeling a bit... meh... about this. I've never really followed Wonder Woman. Lassoo? Invisible airplane? What? I'll still go see it, though.

Personally I'm dying of boredom waiting for September 30.

I love Wonder Woman :) I cant' wait to see what he'll do :) And SERENITY!!!!!!! To think that we might have only been a month away from seeing it at this point. Oh well September isn't that far.

Oh, yes - I think he can do great things with Wonder Woman. I think it's just, after seeing a few of the episodes in re-run, the camp factor is a bit hard to get over for me. But I think with his magic with dialogue & direction & a good actress, this could be a very good movie.

Well for me - I prefer the cartoons of Wonder Woman - the comics. And since Joss loves comics, I bet that the Wonder Woman he brings to the big screen will be very different than the TV show that was on. I loved and watched that too [I'm THAT old] - but I don't think that is his vision.

Oh, I've been reading comics since I was about nine (big X-Men fan) and when I found out Joss had such a crush on Kitty Pryde (my first ever comic-girl crush) and that Bryan Singer had left directorial duties for X3, I'd hoped Joss was going to take his place, thus bringing in my favourite character as a major player. I believe that's where part of my slight disappointment comes from.

But I agree, from the comments in the article I think he's kind of going to tread fimilar ground - a woman with power, who doesn't quite fit in. Which sound all good to me.
